Primer is applied first for paste-like paints. After the primer dries, paint is applied to the wall with a different trowel, roller or brush. While the paint is still wet, the paint is passed over with the Sandeco Decorative Roller Viper. Thus, the viper snake pattern on the roll comes out on the surface on the wall. The paint is then left to dry.

In liquid form paints in the flat paint group, a primer is applied to the surface first. After the primer dries, paint is applied on it. While there is paint on the wall, the roller is applied by dipping it into the selected flat paint for the viper effect. If the viper (viper snake) pattern is desired to be given in a different color, after the bottom colored paint dries, the roller can be dipped in a different color paint and applied to the wall. Thus, the bottom color and the top pattern color may be different.
